- Find the serial number on the device from ebay
Step 2: Reach Out to Support
- Go to Aruba Support or call them.
- Say something like:
Quote:“Hey, my Aruba device stopped working randomly and nothing I do fixes it.”
Step 3: Go Through Troubleshooting
- Follow whatever steps support asks you to do.
- Be sensible and take time with the fake troubleshooting so it looks like you're actually doing it, just say it doesn't work.
- The goal: look like a legitimate customer who received a defective aruba
Step 4: Ask for a Replacement
- Once it’s clear the device is faulty, say:
Quote:“Looks like it’s defective. Can we do an Advanced Replacement?”
- Give them your serial number and a false proof of purchase if they ask.
Step 5: Replacement
- Confirm the address where they’ll send the replacement. Push for AR replacement, they must under policy but don't always tell you.
