The 'idiot' is also the owner of one of the most popular hypixel clients out there. Im pretty sure security is going to be tight, also they want you to repay because they bough the source for close to $5k... asking for $10 from past customers should not be that difficult considering you bought it to sell accounts, no?

I dont see a point in doing so. They bought the source code, and of course they want to profit. They have let you repurchase it for $10, which is better than the source being lost forever. No one will be able to use it anymore if tuntun didnt buy it.
