Where is the world heading?

I've been thinking a lot about where the world is going over the next 10–20 years.

A quick search points to the same recurring themes:
AI and automation replacing or transforming jobs
Increasing surveillance and digital governance Growing wealth inequality
Climate and resource pressures Rising geopolitical competition between major powers
Rapid technological progress alongside social instability

Some analysts predict an era of abundance driven by AI and automation.

Others think we're heading toward a future where power becomes increasingly concentrated in the hands of governments, corporations, and those who control technology.

Personally, I feel we're entering a period of massive transition. The next decade may change how we work, learn, communicate, build businesses, and even how societies are organized.
