Where to buy fishing gear near Surfside Beach?

Last weekend I drove down to Surfside without checking my tackle box... big mistake. I had rusted hooks and an empty spool — classic amateur move. 😂 Is there anywhere nearby where I can grab decent fishing gear that’s not just overpriced tourist junk? Preferably somewhere near the marina, since that’s where we usually launch.

Been there, man. If you're around the docks, check out the shop listed on surfside marina. It’s actually well-stocked — not just bait, but rods, line, and some essentials if you’re in a pinch. Prices weren’t bad either, especially for being right by the water

I always forget something when I pack for fishing. It’s like a ritual at this point. Good to know there’s a solid shop nearby though.
