How important is Security (OPSEC) for you guys?

Im working on something and i wanna check how many people on Patched are Interested on the Software!

you should put the ability to auto shutdown after 2-3 failed attempts and maybe add ability to unlock with pattern similar to Eusing Maze Lock

It is allready set to 3 max attempts, maybe im gonna add a Option in Settings to define the Max Tries!
Technically i can include any Feature or Idea as long as its not breaking the Security aspect.
Im also planning on an Remote KillSwitch function, like an API you can call and then it will shutdown the PC.

It prevents usb plug-in & plug-out while the Screen Lock is active.
It prevents PCI-Interception while on Screen Lock.


We are not adding an additional Screen Lock, we use the Windows Native Screen lock.
You can use all the Options Windows provides to Unlock the Screen.
You can even use Fingerprints, Face Recognition, PIN, Physical USB Key (Its better to not use, because you need to disable Shutdown on USB Plug-in & Plug-out), Picture Code.

Why did we use Windows Native Lock Screen, instead custom one?
Nobody can see because of the Lock Screen that you are using OwlLock.
Its hard to make a Custom Screen Lock and think about all the options to prevent exploits, so im a "Fan" of the Native Windows Screen Lock.

If you have some more Ideas, Inputs, Features in mind, keep throwing them at me and i will take my time to think about it!

It prevents usb plug-in & plug-out, PCI ...which is good, but what about SATA plug in ? If somebody somehow bypasses Native Windows Lock Screen with some exploits etc, assuming that your software process will still be running, it should detect any attempt made by another software to mirror imagining RAM memory, if is detected, should shut down instantly.

SATA is a good addition i will put it on the List.
The Native Screen lock is hard to exploit without connecting any Drive or starting any software on the device, but i will keep my Eye open for Solutions to prevent this and to prevent Ram Mirroring.

One more thing, give the user power to decide what will happen if a USB/Sata/PCie is attached while lock is enabled. I would like that for myself to be instant shutdown, so the encryption keys will never be found. Best Regards.

There is a screenshot attached in the Thread you can see this allready included, i plan to give complete control even add auto updater that you can disable.
