decided to share it here, so simply move on if you are already familiar with the method. Right now, a bunch of creators are making a ridiculous amount of money by taking videos from the Chinese version of TikTok (Douyin) and reposting them on the English version of TikTok. And no, it’s not some super secret method, it’s something you can start doing too if you follow a few easy steps. I’m going to break it all down for you today, explaining exactly how these people are doing it, how you can do the same, and throw in some extra tips to make your content stand out.

Alright, let’s dive in.

Understanding How TikTok Pays You

Before we start talking about stealing... I mean, repurposing Chinese TikTok videos, let’s first talk about the money. You can’t really talk about making cash on TikTok without understanding how the whole payout system works, right? So, the way TikTok’s CRP (Creator Rewards Program works is actually pretty simple. If you post videos that are over 1 minute long, you can get paid a dollar for every 1,000 views. Yes, you read that right, $1 for every thousand views you rack up. Sounds pretty sweet, right? But there is one little catch: to start earning money from the CRP, you need at least 10,000 followers or you need an account that’s already part of the program.

(not my dashboard)

Here’s the thing, if you don’t have an account with 10,000 followers yet, there are a couple of ways to get into the program. One option is to grow your account organically, which will take time and patience. Or, and I’m just throwing this out there, you could buy an account that’s already in the program. That’s what a lot of creators are doing. It’s honestly the easier and faster option, and if you go that route, you can check out BHW marketplace.

Where to Find the Good Stuff: QuaiShow vs. Douyin

Now that you understand how to make money with TikTok’s CRP, let’s talk about where to find the content. The easiest (and honestly most fun) part of this whole thing is finding videos on Chinese TikTok that you can repost. But there’s a little trick to it. While Douyin is the official Chinese version of TikTok, I wouldn’t recommend using it to source your content. Why? Because Douyin and TikTok are both owned by the same company, which means the bots on both platforms are probably set up to detect if the same video shows up on both. So, if you upload a video from Douyin onto TikTok, there’s a higher chance that TikTok’s algorithm might flag it as duplicate content. And trust me, you don’t want that to happen.

Instead, we’re going to use a site called QuaiShow (pronounced “kway-show”). QuaiShow is like the Chinese version of TikTok, but not the official one, so it’s less likely that TikTok will detect the content. However, here’s the catch, you won’t be able to understand anything on QuaiShow unless you speak Chinese! But don’t panic; there’s a super easy fix for that.

How to Navigate QuaiShow: Translating Everything

Once you land on QuaiShow’s website, everything will be in Chinese, and at first, it might look a bit overwhelming.

But don’t sweat it. All you need to do is right-click anywhere on the page and select “Translate to English” That’s it! Now, the entire page will be translated into English, and you can start browsing the site and searching for viral videos in whatever niche you’re interested in.

So now that you can understand the site, you have two options:
You can either scroll through QuaiShow organically and find videos you like, or
You can use the search bar to find videos based on specific keywords.

The search bar is super useful, but here’s the catch, since QuaiShow is a Chinese platform, you’ll need to translate your search terms into Chinese. For example, if you want to search for cat videos, go to Google Translate, type in “cat,” and translate it into Chinese.

Then, copy the translated word, paste it into QuaiShow’s search bar, and voilà, tons of viral cat videos pop up!

By default, you will see the hot trending videos when you enter a search term, so you just need to pick several videos that got the most Likes and engage from the search result.

Downloading the Videos: The Easy Part

Once you’ve found a video (or a few) that you like, the next step is to download them. This part is super easy. Just click the “Share” button on the video, and you’ll see an option to “Copy Link” Copy the link,

and head over https://tiqu.cc/en/kuaishou, and choose Kuishou from the top bar. It’s a platform where you can paste the link, and it’ll automatically download the video for you.

Just like that, you now have a viral video from QuaiShow that you can repost on TikTok!

Making It Your Own: Transforming Content

Now comes the fun part: turning these downloaded videos into something unique that won’t get flagged as unoriginal content. There are a few ways you can do this, but I’ll go over the top three methods that work the best.

1. Voice Dubbing: Chinese to English (or other languages)

One of the most effective ways to make the content fully original is by doing voice dubs. Here’s how you do it:

First, find a video with a talking head, someone speaking in Chinese. Then, you can use AI tools to translate the audio into English and sync the person’s mouth movements so it looks like they’re speaking in English. This can be done with platforms like HeyGen. It’s not perfect, but the AI is improving every day, and in a few years, this kind of dubbing could be indistinguishable from real life.
If you’re not into using AI, another option is to take the transcript of the video and use something like ChatGPT to translate it into English. You’ll need to clean up the translation a bit since direct translations can sometimes sound awkward, but ChatGPT does a decent job of making it sound fluent. Once you’ve got your English script, you can either record your own voice or use CapCut’s text-to-speech feature to read the script out loud.

2. Reaction Videos: The Fun Way to Go Viral

If voice dubs aren’t your thing, another option is to create reaction videos. You can react to the viral videos you downloaded in a fun and engaging way. These reaction videos are super popular on TikTok, and they can be done either in person or using AI-generated voices.

For example, let’s say you find a funny cat video on QuaiShow. You can create a reaction video where you (or an AI avatar) comment on the cat’s hilarious antics. You could say something like, “Look at how hungry he is! Someone get this cat some milk!” These types of videos tend to go viral because people love reactions, especially when they’re funny or relatable. Plus, this strategy works great because you’re not just reposting a video; you’re adding your own unique take on it.

3. Explanation Videos: Turning Viral Content into Educational Content

Another cool way to make Chinese TikTok videos your own is by turning them into explanation videos. Here’s how it works:

Find a viral video on QuaiShow, then create a script explaining what’s happening in the video. You could narrate it in your own voice, or again, use something like CapCut’s text-to-speech feature to do the talking for you.

For example, imagine you find a video of someone demonstrating an impressive skill, like noticing a truck coming before anyone else. You can explain how this person has an almost superhuman ability to spot things before they happen, making it educational while still entertaining.

Bonus Strategies for Extra Growth

Now, here are a few bonus strategies that can help you grow your TikTok account using Chinese content. While some of these might not qualify for the CRP, they’re still great ways to increase your followers.

1. Compilation Videos
Creating compilation videos is a low-effort way to grow your audience. Just gather a bunch of viral clips from QuaiShow and mash them together into one fun video. These videos are perfect for people who like watching short, snappy clips. While this method might not earn you money right away, it’s great for building a following.

2. Use Chinese Videos as Background Footage
Another great strategy is using viral Chinese videos as background footage for your own content. For example, you could overlay a Reddit story or a funny commentary on top of a satisfying cooking video. This way, your video doesn’t get flagged as unoriginal, and you can still make it entertaining.

3. Reposting Non-Talking Content
Finally, you can repost videos that don’t require translation, like DIY projects or funny animal videos. These videos don’t need to be translated into English, and you can simply add a caption to the front, like “Cleaning my house” or “Funny cat moments.” While this strategy isn’t ideal for the CRP, it’s still a great way to gain followers.

Wrapping It Up

So, there you have it! With just a few tools and strategies, you can start repurposing Chinese TikTok videos and reposting them on the English version to make money through the Creator Rewards Program. Whether you’re dubbing videos, reacting to them, or explaining them, there’s a ton of potential here. And with a little creativity, you can stand out from the crowd and build a successful TikTok account.

Hope this will be useful for you and help you make your first $$$ online.
