So I was checking out a new “project” a few days ago, looked clean—typical mint site setup, decent UI, verified socials. Almost connected my burner wallet just to test it... then paused.
Glad I did. A bit of digging later and turns out it was running a fresh drainer script behind the scenes. Figured I'd share what I found, in case anyone’s curious how these setups actually work in 2025.

🌐 Modern Drainer Ecosystem (Quick Breakdown):
  1. Custom-Coded Drainers (Pro Level)
    • Devs build these from scratch (requires solid knowledge of smart contracts, JS/TS, etc).
    • Tailored for stealth, speed, and bypassing wallet warnings.
  2. Pre-Made Scripts for Sale
    • Prices range from $5K to $30K (depends on features).
    • Most buyers get scammed tbh—tons of “devs” just resell open-source stuff or backdoored scripts.
  3. Rental-Based Models
    • Sites like Exogator, AngelDrain, and others are popping up fast.
    • You get a full panel (logs, webhooks, etc.) in exchange for a % of profits (they take a cut).
    • Always updated, stealthy UX, fake interfaces (e.g., fake MetaMask popups).

🔍 Method of Attack
  • Set up a clean-looking site (mint, token swap, fake dApp).
  • Spread links via fake airdrops, collabs, Discord raids, Twitter replies.
  • Once the victim connects their wallet (no txn needed), the drainer bot pulls tokens, NFTs, stables, etc.
  • Done in under 30 seconds.

⚠️ Heads-UpI got lucky this time, but honestly, these setups are getting too good. Just a reminder to always sandbox/test in a VM, verify site scripts, or use browser dev tools if you're reverse-engineering these links.
If anyone’s already reversed some Exogator/AngelDrain panel setups or got access to sample builds, drop a PM or share below—always down to learn more.
