This guide works for both, LAPTOPS & MONITORS. Basically every Lenovo product, business laptops like X1 Carbon, gaming ones like Legion series, all monitors, etc. Lenovo was always a pretty simple company to do in USA, the only thing you required was a high quality serial number that was not shared online and drop address or other method to avoid rebill after receiving product. This guide will cover both USA and Europe. It probably works in other parts of the world, but I did not personally test it. Rebills aren't common anymore, they do not rebill in Europe at all andin small cases in USA and you're good to go!

In this guide, I will teach you how to perform the method in easiest way and make money from it.

1. Firstly, after you chose a product you want to SE, you need a Serial Number. If you want a unique Serial Number that is not shared or posted online, \

Remember, unlike other companies like Logitech, Lenovo really requires a serial number that is not saturated, shared online on marketplaces, so purchasing is the best option. Also, SN has to have a warranty which you automatically receive by purchasing off Debugger's Hub store.

2. You have to purchase a SIM card or use TextNow, a free app that provides you a USA phone number. From my experience, any country code works, so if you're located for example in Europe and use TextNow, providing a reason like your phone is +1, so to avoid any additional costs you use a free online app.



3. After getting SN and phone number, you have to reach https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/warranty-lookup#/ and input Serial Number you purchased or have:


4. Now, submit it and check if it is under warranty:

As you could see, this one is under warranty until January 2028 which is great.

5. At left side click Contact Us and submit ticket, like this:


6. Now, some details will have to be provided. Firstly, select hardware problem and chose your country:


7. In the next step you have to explain a problem. Write something like I just did, but not always the same. Think about a story and stick to it. Make sure the laptop / monitor is completely dead.



8. Now, provide them contact information and shipping address:

Regarding shipping address, I recommend you to use a neigbours one.

9. Now after you submit, you will receive a call in next 24h. If you prefer talking thru email, ask for it, say that you don't have time for phone.

10. In both cases, they will offer you a replacement monitor / laptop and will ship it out as soon as you confirm it.

11. Laptop / monitor will be delivered to your address in less than 2 weeks and after that you'll receive a call again where they ask you to return the old laptop / monitor.

12. As nobody told you before about returning, simply tell them that you recycled it. There is a small chance for rebill, in the Europe they do not rebill at all, in USA sometimes, but if you didn't use own address, you'll be completely fine.

That is it, congratulations, you did your "expensive" SE and received a Lenovo product. Now it is up to you if you'll sell it, open a SE service or use any other of cashout money of this method.
