There are several ways to get a refund from a store, such as DNA, EB, SIB, PR, RTS, and FTID. Each store usually requires a specific method.
Here, I’ll focus on FTID because it’s the most widely used and works in many cases. In theory, it can be applied to almost any store.
What is FTID? FTID stands for Fake Tracking ID. In short, it changes the tracking information and destination of a return package so that the store believes the item has been returned to their warehouse and issues a refund. This process usually takes about two weeks.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on using FTID to get a refund:
#1 Order the items you want.
#2 Start the return immediately once the item is delivered.
Look for the return button, usually in your order details or at the bottom of the website.
Example: Coach Outlet.

Follow the return steps. You’ll need to pick a reason for the return, but any reason works.

After completing the steps, you’ll get a return label, usually UPS, USPS, or FedEx. Any of these can be used to create an FTID. UPS / USPS / FEDEX
#3 Send the label PDF to your boxer.

#4 Check the tracking status.
It should show “Delivered” in about seven days, which means the FTID worked. If it doesn’t, it may need to be resent.

#5 Request the refund.
Some websites automatically issue refunds after FTID (ROS/ROD), but most require you to contact customer service.
About two weeks after the FTID shows as delivered, reach out to the store via phone, chat, or email. Online chat is often the easiest. The “Contact Us” link is usually at the bottom of the site.

Ask about the status of your refund as if you don’t know anything. They’ll usually process it right away. Sometimes social engineering can help, but details are not included here. That’s the entire FTID refund process.
