It would be totally useless to make something like this.
It would be impossible just to get 1 correct code with bruteforce generating. Not to mention the amount of ip bans.
Here is a little explanation:
a normal giftcode looks like this: I7Y52-PGM6T-IXTTA
Let me take it separately: I7Y52
the first part has numbers and letters.
so the first character can be a number from 0-9 or an alphabetic letter from the english abc
which means that our first character has 36 options.
then comes the other 4...
if we just calculate the first five character then to get just 5 correct ones has a chance like 1 in a 60,466,176
so just think about the other 10 characters....
all in all it could be a good idea, but its stupid.
