How do users ensure privacy while playing online?

Privacy online is getting more important every year, especially when you’re playing games and sharing info. I’m kinda paranoid after hearing stories about people getting hacked. What do you all do to keep your accounts safe? I’m thinking of using a separate email or even a VPN, but not sure if that’s overkill.

That’s not overkill at all. These days, you gotta be careful with your info. I always set up two-factor authentication and use a unique password for each site. Sometimes I use a different email, just in case. If you’re thinking about joining a new platform, most of the decent ones make security a priority – you can Sign up knowing your info is safe. Still, I’d never use the same password twice, just to be sure. A VPN’s good too, especially if you’re playing on public Wi-Fi.

I get why people are cautious now, with all the data leaks going on. Using a password manager helped me a lot. Just makes it easier to keep track of everything without stressing.
