Additional Information: I was told that this person was selling Discord Nitro gift links. I paid him $30, and he said he would send me the gift code on Telegram. Instead, he deleted all of the messages and disappeared.

I request that this user be banned because he is a scammer. I also want a full refund of my $30.

The user @IQUITTEDFORUMS has changed their Telegram username and is trying to disappear. They will likely change the Telegram link on their profile as well. Please investigate this account before all identifying information is changed. They are actively modifying their details in an attempt to avoid being identified. Please review any available logs and previous account information.

Yes, they have now changed their Telegram username. This is shown in the screenshots I provided as evidence. The previous Telegram username matches the username listed on their Patched profile.

The Telegram link currently listed on their Patched profile no longer works because they changed their Telegram username. But that was a stupid mistake—the screenshots clearly show the original username. You can’t hide or run away now. Scamming someone over just $30 is pathetic.

@Lushioe's last activity on the forum was May 3rd, 2026, but the Telegram account used to scam the reporting member was registered in July 2026 roughly two months later. It's not realistic for @Lushioe to have created and used that account for a sale after already being inactive here for two months, so @Lushioe is not the party responsible for this scam.

The "IQUITTEDFORUMS" field on @Lushioe's profile was simply meant to indicate they'd stopped being active on forums, not an active contact handle. A smart scammer picked up on this, registered that same username on Telegram, and posed as @Lushioe to scam the reporting member. Most likely the reporting member was contacted directly on Telegram without ever verifying through a forum PM that the person they were talking to was actually the real @Lushioe. For reference, staff have had prior direct contact with @Lushioe over Telegram regarding an unrelated forum matter, and their actual handle is @iloverackzzz the same handle used consistently across their sales threads. This does not match the account involved in this dispute, confirming impersonation.

As further confirmation, the same "I quit forums" status message appears on @Lushioe's profile on another forum as well, listed there simply as their away reason rather than a contact handle:

Given this, no action will be taken against @Lushioe and they won't be held liable for the refund requested. We're sorry this happened to the reporting member, but the evidence clearly shows that he was ripped off by someone else. Members are reminded to verify a seller's identity through a forum PM before sending payment on Telegram, rather than assuming whoever messages them first using a matching username is legitimate.
