For transparency: a scam report regarding this situation was already opened on another forum on February 28, where the seller was eventually banned for scamming.

On October 17, 2025, I contacted the seller to book a hotel stay in Dubai (check-in October 19, check-out October 29). The seller confirmed he could proceed and requested upfront payment in USDC.

He offered a 55% discount on the listed price. The agreed amount was 1,264 USDC, which I sent on the Solana network. The transaction was completed and confirmed.

After payment, the seller asked for the guest details which I provided immediately. Shortly afterward, he informed me that the original hotel was not available and asked me to look for another option.

Throughout the same day, I provided multiple alternative hotels. Each time, the seller stated he could not complete the booking either due to availability issues or problems on his side.

Despite several attempts, no booking was successfully completed.

Eventually, after it became clear that the service could not be delivered, I requested a refund. The seller explained that he was experiencing personal difficulties and needed time to return the money. I chose not to escalate immediately out of respect for his situation.

However, it has now been over half a year and I still have not received my refund.

I do not wish to publicly post the full chat logs out of respect for the seller's private problems he was facing in the past which made him unable to refund me but I am prepared to provide the complete conversation, transaction proof, and all supporting evidence directly to a moderator upon request.

I still believe the seller is not a scammer, however the funds have not been returned despite significant time passing and him making quite a lot of sales here, me believing he has made plenty already to pay his debts. I feel played with. I have communicated with him that if he doesn't refund it's not a problem but it would be fair if he'd get banned. Therefore, I am forced to open this scam report in hopes of resolving the matter and recovering my payment.

You're right. A smart person wouldn't give you 6 months to run your business to refund before opening a scam report. It's my fault and you can consider me as stupid in this situation for giving you the time and respecting your bad real-life situation.

Broooo i texted u a lot of times for refund u was offline u didnt need this money cuz u are rich thats not mean i didnt want to refund cuz of this , before open first report u just came i need my money i open report thats it, there is 2 type of guy who have 600$ and give u all and other guy who have million give 1200$ and dont care just,y + i offered u something to book very big amount u paid 1200$ i was going to book almost 5k ;)

The evidence confirms that @NotWelcome transferred 1,264 USDC to @MyPlug for a hotel booking that was never secured. @MyPlug has explicitly acknowledged receipt of these funds and the failure to provide the service. Despite the passage of six months and multiple opportunities to settle the debt, no refund has been issued.

The responsibility for this dispute lies entirely with @MyPlug. Personal financial difficulties or investments do not excuse the retention of user funds for a failed service. A provider is obligated to return payments immediately when a contract cannot be fulfilled. The recent refusal to pay due to the opening of this report is an unacceptable breach of marketplace rules.

@MyPlug is required to refund the full amount of 1,264 USDC to @NotWelcome within 24 hours. Failure to provide proof of payment in this thread within the specified timeframe will result in a permanent ban. No further extensions or partial payment arguments will be entertained.
