Scammed by B0nann0? For $50 DWC

I am not new to forums, I am mostly active on HF and a few others, where I have a solid reputation.

I was in the market for a product:MY WTB THREAD
 

This user:B0nann0

He decides to PM me, I will provide all screenshots of our conversation which led to a deal of sorts.

I know I should have asked for a MM, and dealt on forum through the proper channels.

However, I decided to give him benefit of the doubt to his +REP reputation, which could all be inflated from posting leaks.

He has been in the chat lobby/room frequently, even tagging some of you or sending some troll pepe emojis

He has since ghosted me, viewed my profile 8 hours ago, but disappears hours after sending him payment?

Also online status is now showing "Offline" which can be a sign I am blocked?

Very active in the chatroom with trolling. But no time to respond to my PM?

Please bring this to attention, I am not sure if he has scammed others. I was going to give him 24 hours but he didn't want to seem to be professional.

I should have noticed the rush and the bad English. It is my fault but I do not feel good letting him run off with $50.

Please, if you can be of assistance, I would highly appreciate you and this community.

Hello, I logged on and noticed an unusual amount of PM's in my inbox yesterday. Upon further investigation I discovered that somehow, someone was messaging users (as me) through PM and offering deals of some kind. The inexperienced victim who was scammed was foolish enough to not require any proof and was willing to "keep all communication in PM" which the scammer requested for obvious reasons. I'm pleading that staff look into this thoroughly by investigating login device/IP data etc. to clear my name.

I have more than a year of history on site and have never leeched or scammed. I simply give away free accounts just for the sake of giving them away. I'm not even advertising a store or service by doing so. Yesterday once I discovered what had happened I enabled 2fa and have since messaged all individuals who were contacted by the scammer and informed them of the situation.

As I write this I am still unaware of how much was scammed because the moment I realized what had happened I stopped reading the conversation and frantically began locking down my account. I assume it was between $20-$100, and I can tell you for certain is that there is ZERO... repeat ZERO % chance I would jeopardize my account and reputation for such an insignificant amount of money. I live in an affluent 1st world country, not a some shack in India. I'm not desperate like that.

Even if your account was compromised, account security is the account owner’s responsibility. Since the deal and payment request were made from your account, the victim’s loss is still your responsibility to resolve under forum policy. If you want to clear your name and have this report closed, you must compensate the victim / cover the loss in full ($50).

I'm an innocent user in good standing on the forum, who is now caught up in some bullshit because of you, a noob idiot, who has no idea how to conduct themselves in this part of the internet and got played like a fucking fiddle. By your second message you were telling the scammer that you trust him and like him. LOL.. pathetic.

You talk about having some respectable profile on Hackforums... Then why are you here doing business on a throw away account?  Do business where you're known and respected. You are the one who seems like a scammer to me... but you are probably just dumb. I will be doing a trace analysis on the transaction and wallets involved to ensure you're not pulling some bullshit. I'm sure you wouldn't be the first person send themselves money and fake a scam report for some stupid reason. Once I confirm that there are no suspicious links between the wallets I will begin waiting for the information requested below:

1. Since I'm being held financially responsible for your stupidity and negligence you can show some respect... undo your "dislike" on the post. 
   
2. Provide your Telegram ID to me through PM.  Unlike the scammer who scammed you, that's where I prefer to communicate.
   
3. Publicly share a link to your primary forum account in a response on this thread. You claimed to be a "more known" member so the profile better have age and rep. 
   
4. Once I have interacted with you on that account and confirmed it is indeed yours, I will consider paying your debt. (If I pay it is by no means an acknowledgement of guilt. I just value this forum and my reputation on it and having an undeserved stain is unacceptable to me so I want it cleared.)

User failed to resolve the scam report within the given deadline. The account has been permanently banned for scamming. Please use a middleman for all future deals.
