Staying Healthy While Coding – some tips.

Hallo,

Just a quick reminder about something that is too easy to overlook when you are deep into project or debugging for hours: it is your health.

At some point, the long hours, poor quality foods, and bad posture stop being just part of the process and start impacting your work.

- Make sure you are eat balanced meals: Don’t just eat junk food all of the days. Try to include real food like vegetables, lean protein, oats, and healthy fats. You can still have snacks for energy, but better options like fruits and nuts will help with energy and focus.

- Drink water: Always choose water or black coffee instead of energy drinks or soda. Dehydration can make it harder to think clearly, and most people they dont notice it;

- Fix your posture and set up your workspace properly. Use a chair that supports your back, doesn't have to be gaming chair for fags, put your screen at eye level, and if possible you can stand up. It helps reduce back and neck straining.

- Take breaks often and move. stand up and stretch or walk around every hour. Even 5 minutes is better than nothing. It resets your body and keeps your mind fresh.

Coding is using your brain, but your body have to support that. If you ignore your health your performance will drop over time. Take care of both.
