There are several better ways for advertisement including advertising in DMs.
How is that?
First of all an account or maybe a bot should be created.
Users can pay for an ad. This bot / account will simply DM users with the ad/the message that the "buyer" will specify and all the members of the forum will receive it. Of course this won't be cheap but it is a new way for ads which is useful
