I have nothing to do with this, but that is the worst customer service I have ever encountered in any forum. Both members should be banned right away.
This should never be done to a customer. Usually, scammers simply block you and let you go, but in this instance, the seller squandered the buyer's time for 12 days. The project could have already been operational and making money, but instead the buyer is left feeling let down, and the seller is probably deterred from even setting up shop here. It is utterly unacceptable.

First of all, I’d like to say that this deal was made on 23rd March, and the payment was also sent on 23rd March:

We were very transparent and clearly stated that the first draft would be sent within around 8 days. It could be sent earlier, but we never promise that it’s a general term of our service. We also mention that clients can request a refund if we don’t make even 1% progress within those 8 days:

On 1st April, he pinged me. I told him I was in bed and had already made progress. I also said I could show him the work by tomorrow. still, he continued to argue pointlessly with me for about an hour, then finally agreed to wait one more day:

His static version (ready to be animated) was sent to him on 1st April. He paid on 23rd March and received the thread on 1st April, which makes it 9 days, not 12 days, itsa complete bullshit.

He didn’t reply until 5 AM (while I was asleep).. He mentioned the design looked a bit blurry due to Discord compression but also said it’s “not bad”:

Just two hours later, he started claiming the design was “stolen from Behance.” This was complete bs. I asked him to provide even one design similar to the one I made, and he failed to do so. All he sent were landing pages from Behance and claimed they had “similar patterns,” which is nonesene. I understand that design is a creative field, so I stayed calm and said we could fix anything he wasn’t happy with, which is fair enough. but he continued being hostile and even said “do you lack O2?” while I was genuinely trying to help:

After arguing for a bit, I was exhausted it was nearly 8 AM and I had only slept around 3 AM. I told him I was willing to fix whatever he didn’t like and also animate the design. I just needed to sleep for a bit. I stayed cooperative and never got mad, but he kept being angry for no clear reason,. He even said he could make the same thing himself.. I so i was like "cool" and i replied “Good luck with that.”

He kept arguing even after I reminded him that he was attracted to my service because of a similar thread design that I had created for my marketplace thread. That design was also made in Figma and had a landingpage style. He then began calling my work “shit.”
I kept telling him to calm down.. I wasn’t mocking him, I was just offering solutions. He then asked me, “Are you rage baiting?” when I was only trying to help.. It was getting really late and I just wanted to sleep.
I also acknowledged that everyone has their own design preferences and said I was open to remaking the design exactly as he wanted:

When I finally asked him, “Just tell me what u want me to do,” he replied with “I’m good off that bro,” which made no sense.. I asked him again what he wanted, and instead of giving me a simple answer, he just kept spiraling into more arguments:

I clarified once more that I hadn’t insulted or mocked him. I just needed a proper reference, and I would recreate the thread accordingly. Let’s not forget that he originally said the design was “not bad” but flipped within an hour, calling it “shit.” Then he asked for a refund and called me and my server co-owner “dickheads.” Obviously, I told him that asking for a refund after receiving the product doesn’t make sense. cuz it actually doesnt.
He kept calling names to my work the same work he said was “not bad” and called me unprofessional, even though I was offering him a resolution instead of going to sleep like I should’ve:

I told him that any other artist would also take 2–3 more days to complete a thread like this, and I could easily do that too. I said I would recreate the thread to his liking and send it to him. Then he randomly said “I don’t mind waiting 2 weeks,” which clearly shows this was never about delays. or waiting or 8 days

Even after that, he continued to argue. I kept telling him it was against my terms to refund after work has been delivered and progress made. I was open to recreating or making any changes he needed:

He still refused to cooperate. At that point, it was really late, so I sent one final message telling him I was open to a real conversation about what he needed done. I also told him that unnecessary arguments would lead to a mute.
In my server, there's a terms that being abusive to owners can lead to a ban, but I didn’t go that route. cuz it'd be unfair. and
Just to be clear, he has humiliated, defamed, and abused both me and the other owner multiple times. So, I warned him again that pointless arguments would get him muted, then I went to sleep. He continued arguing with the other server owner after that:

Even the other owner got fed up and told him "If you don’t like it, just say you don’t like it and want it redone. It’s very easy to do," which is a valid point:

When I returned, I could see clearly that this kid didn’t want a resolution he just wanted to argue and provoke. So I told him directly:
“I will not entertain any more pointless arguments. Just reply in one sentence with what you want done, and I will provide it.”
As for the bot purge our ticket system is fully automated. It pings and DMs the user 12 hours before deleting a ticket due to inactivity. Even after deletion, it sends a full transcript of the ticket to the user’s DMs. This system can be prevented easily by sending even a dot in the ticket. He started arguing about this automated system too, so I didn’t respond because honestly, I had better things to do in my life. The other owner, already done with him, ended up muting him for it as we already warned him not to argue and tell us what he wanted.:

So again, this whole dispute is pointless. We were very clear from the start that we can take up to 8 days for the first draft, and he agreed to wait until 1st April, which makes it 9 days total, not 11 so he is clearly bullshiting in whole report rn
Throughout the deal, I was professional and cooperative, even after delivering 50% of the work, offering to remake it, and even doing 2 recreations if needed.
He threatened me with a dispute and went from calling the work "not bad" to "shit" within an hour. He also mentioned other designers, which makes it clear that he probably went around, found someone offering a cheaper deal, and is now trying to back out and get a refund from me.
Even after all this, I’m still open to having him come to my Discord so I can make all the changes he wants. I’m absolutely fine with that.
But if any mod still believes I should issue a refund, but i still think i shouldnt as i am happy to do his work, but if any of mod think that. I’m okay with cutting the cost of the static thread and refunding him around $40–45 for the signature and animation. I’m also fine giving him the static design files.

Lastly, I know everyone has their own preferences when it comes to design, but I really believe the design I created is appealing. It’s definitely not “shit”. Still, I’ve offered a full recreation, and I’m happy to deliver it. ill attach the work on this thread to let mods see the design first then decide.

It's honestly wild that the so-called "proofs" he attached don’t even work, and yet you went ahead and negative repped me and said to ban me straight up without even checking anything.

.First of all, all the links work. second you been promising me everyday progress thist hat etc. you told me you will give me animated sig and thread 11 days later and I only got a static even when I insisted on a refund 8 days later with no progress AND REFUSED WHICH EVEN STATES IN THEIR TOS I CAN GT AREFUND IF NO PROGRESS 8 DAYS. Then when I start pressuring him into a deal dispute. He finally after 11 days appears to send me a static thread that I can make myself using figma and behance. I have been tormented for the last 2 weeks and no one should go through this.  THIS SAME DAY HE PROMISED ME EVERYTHING INCLUDING MY ANIMATED THREAD AND SIGNATURE. Only recieved a bullshit static 11 days later been after asking for refund since day 8 and they still continued to tormenting me. Still no signature still no refund. still shit service. If you're so confident that making a similar thread on Figma is "easy" and that I made it in just 1 day, then go ahead make one urself.

@lucifergfx Refund him the full amount within 24 hours. It is clear that the TOS has been completely violated, therefore the full amount, not a partial one. You should have communicated progress to your client within 8 days, but things get serious after 8 days.
