The Setup:
This is a print-on-demand method with a twist that allows you to charge premium prices. You're not selling generic designs; you're selling personalized, customized maps that people can't get anywhere else.
The Process:
The "customization" takes you 2 minutes. The entire rest of the process is automated. You're selling an emotion and a memory, not just a piece of paper. A shop that gets 3-4 orders a day is making €75-€140 in pure profit for 10 minutes of "work."

The Setup:
This is a print-on-demand method with a twist that allows you to charge premium prices. You're not selling generic designs; you're selling personalized, customized maps that people can't get anywhere else.
The Process:
- Find Your "Base Maps": Go to a site that offers public domain or Creative Commons licensed maps. The David Rumsey Map Collection is a goldmine. Find cool, vintage maps of cities, countries, or even constellations.
- The "Customization" Angle: Your service is "Custom Star Map" or "Personalized City Map." On Etsy, your listing will say: "I will create a beautiful, vintage-style map of [City Name] with a custom heart marker over the location of your choice. Perfect for anniversaries or new home gifts."
- The Creation: When an order comes in, you take the base map of the city they chose. Use a free tool like Canva or GIMP to add a small red heart or star to the coordinates they give you.
- The Fulfillment: Integrate your Etsy store with a print-on-demand service like Printful or Gelato. When you get an order, you automatically forward the design file to them. They print the map on a poster or canvas, ship it to the customer, and handle everything. You just collect the profit.
- The Pricing: A basic print-on-demand poster might cost you €15 to produce. You can sell the customized map for €40-€50. People pay a premium for personalization.
