Additional Information: Hey,
I’m writing this report to explain my experience with Shanks.
I first purchased a Spotify upgrade, which went smoothly and was delivered as promised. Because of that, I decided to make another purchase.
On January 31st, I bought a Netflix + Disney+ upgrade, both advertised as fully private accounts with full access.
  • Netflix: Yearly subscription on a personal account. It was delivered and is still working fine.
  • Disney+: Never properly delivered as promised.
Before purchasing Disney+, he told me that he only needed to create a fresh account and then deliver it to me. However, after I paid, he said he actually had to contact his supplier. That’s when the issues started.
After payment, I sent multiple messages asking for the Disney+ account. At first, he replied:
Quote:“Hey, yes I’m on it. I’ll send it asap. It’s taking a little longer than usual.”
When I asked for a clear timeframe, he began ignoring my messages. Occasionally, after several follow-ups, he would respond. He later told me:
Quote:“Disney is taking its sweet time, the billing went through but it’s not ready yet, gotta do one more thing.”
When I asked when I would receive it, he said:
Quote:“Contacted support, they said up to 12 hours.”
At that point, it was already February 4th.
After more ignored messages, on February 7th, he finally sent me login details — but for a shared Disney+ account, which was not what I paid for. On top of that, the account didn’t even last a full day.
I contacted him again, clearly stating that I never agreed to a shared account and that I only wanted what was promised: a fully private Disney+ account. I replied:
Quote:“Nice, but I thought it was a fresh account? 😕 That’s what you told me. Plus access to the private email? Wasn’t that what we talked about?”
He then answered:
Quote:“Not at the moment, the email access can’t be provided as Disney banned all the accounts I created. The method is on hold for a few days, not getting good stock. As for this one, yes it’s quite shared but you can use it, there’ll be no problem. If any issue comes up, I’ll replace it asap. I’ll throw in a $20 discount on your next purchase because of this.”
I told him clearly that I was disappointed and that I did not want a shared account. I asked either for:
  • a refund, or
  • the private account he originally promised.
He asked me to wait 2–3 more days, which I did. I’ve been more than patient. As of today, nothing has been delivered, and most of my messages have been ignored.
Today, I informed him that I would have to open a scam report. Only then did he say he was willing to refund me — but only via crypto.
I refused, as I paid via PayPal and only want a refund through the original payment method. Since then, there has been no response at all (last message sent around 3 PM today).
At this point:
  • Disney+ was never delivered as promised
  • I was given a shared account instead of a private one
  • The seller ignored me repeatedly
  • Refund is refused via PayPal
