Three things decide this. You gave OP your BTC address, he sent 423.15 USD worth of BTC to it, and you answered "Ok" without putting a single condition on the amount. The dates you then booked, 4-11, are not the dates he paid for, and you admit that yourself in this thread. The shortfall only came up after the booking was made, and the numbers you give here, 400 paid and 200 owed, do not match your own chat where the payment reads 423.15 and you asked for 600 more. You then went quiet for around nine hours on a same day booking, which is why OP had it covered elsewhere.
Whatever you sank into the 4-11 reservation you recover from the hotel. OP never asked for those dates and does not carry that cost.
