The logs make it pretty clear what happened here. @TheOlympus tried to hike the price by a hundred bucks right at the finish line for stuff that was already in the scope. You took on a refunding service site, so you should have known Sell.app was going to be a problem. That tech shift is your responsibility, not the buyer's.

At the same time, @gusservices was active in the ticket for three weeks and approved the design. Asking for a full refund after someone spent that much time on the frontend and dash4boards isn't going to happen. The site has some real logic flaws though. Letting users see keys before they even pay the deposit makes the whole thing useless for a live operation.

Verdict is a $600 refund back to @gusservices. The remaining $400 stays with @TheOlympus for the work completed. Since you are keeping a chunk of the money, you must hand over the full source code and all files as they are right now. This way @gusservices can take what's done to another dev to finish the project.

@TheOlympus has 24 hours to send the funds and files, then post the txid here.
I don't agree with the decision given.
Stating that I have to pay for a work done when it's not what I have asked for is not right. You are saying I have approved the front-end and that's true, I never paid for the front-end though only for the full project. I have paid the money to seller for the full project not for the front-end, making the whole project invalid.
Paying $400 for a front-end with AI is not fair on my side as with that price I can pay for a front-end + back-end work.
You can say he has done the work, but I don't accept it since I am working another developer since his developers were clearly retarded, and use Claude AI. (I only used 2 prompts with Claude to make my website: gusservices.com)
I am NOT paying $400 for that. I will never use his website, I want my full funds back.

I refuse the $600, instead I want all my funds back and I don't want his work.

Website is already done on my end, by me personally.

Your personal opinion on the decision doesn't change the facts on the ground @gusservices. Just because you opened the dispute thread doesn't mean the verdict is going to be whatever makes you happy. You were in that ticket for twenty days, approving the UI and the logic step-by-step. You don't get a 100% refund just because you learned how to prompt an AI after three weeks of leading a developer through custom revisions.

The $400 is for the labor and the documented hours of work you validated while it was happening. If you thought they were incompetent, you should have stopped the project on day one, not after twenty days of work.

Whether you take the files or not is entirely up to you. But if you refuse to accept the ruled refund amount too, this thread will be closed and you'll get absolutely nothing. Verdict is final.

@TheOlympus, get the $600 sent and post the txid. No more talk.

Your way of judgment is flawed, are we talking about valid real reasoning or about opinions ?
You are saying "To make me happy" No it's not to make me happy, it's to make a decision that actually makes logical sense.
Your decision is flawed as me approving the UI doesn't mean that the project is done.
I paid for a full project and not for a front-end, if back-end is not working then the whole project is deemed as invalid. Thus I went by myself to create the whole project.
Why did I create the whole project by myself ? Because of a simple reason, TheOlympus could not deliver the project. (The whole project)
Me as a buyer, never agreed to only have the front-end, that was a decision taken by you based on the only argument that - "The work was done"
That is an invalid argument as it would need my approval as a buyer if I wanted it or not since I wanted a full project not a half-finished project.
We are here talking about full projects. Since the whole full project was never done, I have the right to reject the work done and be refunded for it. (Not including the fact that I had to loose my braincells with Olympus Indian developers.) I can not pay $400 for a project I never agreed to accept, as it does not make logical sense, and your argument does not stand here as again I was working for a full PROJECT not for half/half project.

Your decision seems to be biased because of olympus role here on the forum, that doesn't make it right, just makes me loose $400 for something that I never agreed on using.
I want my full funds back.

I hope as many people as possible read this thread, this my friends can be one of you as well
The biased opinion of the owner of the forum protecting someone who has a role here on the forum instead of the buyer, in my situation it can be you as well
It can be you to purchase something by someone with status here, get scammed and never be refunded, not that but to also waste braincells, time and your sanity by trying to deal with the seller.
If not status it can be you dealing with someone who has spent $$$ on this forum, that person can scam you, and there will be the admin's opinion
and not the actual facts that will decide if you will get refunded or not.
Deal with caution, and be careful on what forums you wonder in,

Threatening to close the thread if I keep arguing is unethical, you are basically confirming that we can't go against a wrong decision made by you, users should be careful do deal with anyone on this forum, they can be the next victim of a terrible experience and when asked for justice to be hushed by the owner of the forum itself. Don't forget everyone is all fun and games until it's your turn.

Accusations of bias do not change the facts documented in the logs. This decision is based strictly on marketplace rules regarding labor and validated progress.

You spent twenty days directing this development team and approving their updates. In any custom project, time spent under a client's direct guidance carries a cost. You cannot approve progress for three weeks and then demand a full refund because you decided to finish the project yourself at the last minute. If the quality was unacceptable, the project should have been terminated much earlier. By continuing to drive the development for twenty days, you accepted the labor being performed on your behalf.

The $400 is not for a product you are using. It is compensation for the three weeks of development time you consumed. The $600 refund is a penalty for the seller's failure to provide a bug-free final result. Doing the work yourself now does not erase the three weeks of labor you already used from this provider.

The original 24-hour deadline remains in effect. If you still choose to reject this final verdict when that time expires, I will close this report with no further action.

Trying to turn this into a public warning is a waste of time. I don't decide cases based on status or roles, I decide them based on the logs. The logs show you directing this team for twenty days. You pay for the labor you consume. That is a fact of business, not an opinion.

Attacking the integrity of the forum because you didn't get a 100% refund is a quick way to lose the $600 I ruled in your favor. I recognized the seller's technical failures, which is why you aren't paying the full $1,000. But I will not ignore the three weeks of work you personally supervised.

This is my final response. Any further posts stirring up drama or attacking staff will be treated as a rejection of the verdict, and the thread will be closed immediately with no refund. You have the remainder of your 24 hours.

Just so it is clear for everyone else as well, I never stopped since the beginning so I didn't act like a scumbag, I was trying to be cooperative with the seller and I was trying to be a nice person above all, after weeks of trying to explain to the olympus indian developer what I wanted, I understood that he could never do it because he is dead ass retarded. That's when I opened the scam report,
Beast is ignoring this and is using pieces of my chat (just like olympus) to prove a point that I was happy with the service (I never was.)

Think twice before dealing here bros. You will be offer a partial refund for a non existing project and be threatened to not argue or will be left with $0 refund.
